Looking for pain relief? Call me - let's talk!

Were you injured? How do you know? Because of pain? What if you didn't immediately experience pain? Does that mean you were not injured? Did you know that sometimes injuries don't show up as symptoms until days or possibly weeks later?
Some people settle their case with the insurance companies before getting evaluated from a Doctor of Chiropractic trained in soft tissue injuries. This is a big mistake.
REMEMBER: Always get checked for injuries whether you feel pain or not. Do not settle with the insurance company before. It's your health. You will have to live with this decision for the rest of your life. And I mean that literally.
Injuries sustained from auto accidents, whether minor or major, will have an impact on your body and how your body deals with those injuries. Untreated injuries can lead to many conditions later in life, including arthritis, headaches, numbness and tingling in hands and/or feet, digestive disorders and many other conditions.
I would like to turn you attention to WHIPLASH the most common condition associated with auto accidents:
Severe whiplash can include fracture of vertebrae of the neck, brain swelling (concussion) and tearing of blood vessels. Such conditions as these are medical emergencies and need immediate diagnosing and treatment.
What are the symptoms of whiplash?
The two most common types of whiplash injury symptoms are pain and limited motion of the cervical spine (neck). Other symptoms include headache, nausea, numbness, radiating pain into the arms, hands, and fingers, low back pain, vertigo, ringing in the ears, nausea, jaw pain, pain between shoulder blades, disc herniations and more.
Who suffers from whiplash?
Anyone can be subjected to whiplash, even in a low-force car crash at speeds as low as 5mph.
What can chiropractic do?
Chiropractors are specially trained in treatment of conditions such as whiplash. In fact, I think they should be the first choice. After a thorough examination, the chiropractor will begin treatment that should:
• restore movement lost after the accident
• overcome muscle weakness and enhance muscle tone
• speed recovery
• minimize long-term symptoms that can persist or recur over many years
Continual chiropractic adjustments have proved successful for millions of patients throughout the years. Chiropractic can, in many cases, significantly reduce pain and discomfort and allow you to return to your normal activities. Just relying on pain killers and muscle relaxors, which do nothing to override the permancy that can occur with whiplash injuries, chiropractic can help to improve function of injured areas returning them to normal or as near to normal as possible.
Will my auto insurance cover chiropractic care?
We only accept PIP (personal injury protection) coverage. We only consider third party on a case by case basis and ask that you pay as you go. We of course accept cash, check and credit card.

What is whiplash?
Whiplash is most commonly associated with rear-end car collisions in which the head is suddenly whipped back and forth by the impact. It is more accurately called cervical acceleration / deceleration (CAD) trauma or syndrome, which describes the rapid movements that can cause injury the soft tissue (muscles, ligaments) of the neck.
Whiplash can cause a straightening of your cervical spine which, if left untreated, can speed up arthritic degeneration, induce headaches, minimize blood flow to the brain, pinch nerves that supply your shoulders and arms, and many other conditions.
